WalkWise by Drive Notifications
The WalkWise by Drive app allows you to set custom notifications for your account, allowing you stay up-to-date with important information. Please note that notifications are not preset and will not be sent if the WalkWise device is not within range of an online Node.
Tip Over
You’ll get a Tip Over notification if the walker falls over and stays that way while still within range of the Node. You can choose to receive the notification right away or after a set period of time, such as 15 minutes. Setting a time delay can help prevent notifications for times when a walker is folded, placed in a car, and moved away from the Node. The notification is triggered when the walker tips to the left or right at a 45° angle or more.
Inactivity
The Inactivity notification is sent when the walker hasn’t been used for a set number of hours but is still within range of the Node. This can help show if the walker isn’t being used or if the user has been sitting still for too long.
Low Activity
The Low Activity notification lets you know if the walker hasn’t moved a set distance by a certain time of day. Daily movement is tracked starting at midnight. For example, you can use this notification to make sure the user is up and moving in the morning as expected.
Night Owl Score
The Night Owl Score notification tracks changes in nighttime movement including distance, frequency and time of movement from 9pm to 6 am. A score of 0 means there was no motion at night, whereas a score of 100 likely means there was frequency motion of long distances. You can configure the notification to tell you if the Night Owl Score is over or under a certain value.
Activity Goal
The Activity Goal notification lets you know when you have achieved your goal for the day.
Offline
You can receive an Offline notification if the WalkWise device hasn’t sent any updates for a number of hours, including movement or check-ins with the Node. This may mean that the user is away from the Node, the Node is unplugged or offline, or the WalkWise device is out of batteries.
Low Battery
A Low Battery notification will let you know when the device is low on power and the batteries should be changed. The WalkWise device takes 2 AAA batteries which will usually last more than one year.
